Launch of Blackberry Storm Delayed

Thursday, 6 November 2008

Hello, I have just received this information regarding the launch of the blackberry storm on Vodafone UK.

Please note that there has been a delay to the release of the Blackberry Storm. The launch date has been changed from the 7th of November to the 14th of November.

The decision had to be made due to all the interest that surrounds the device and the sheer levels of pre-reg and pre-orders. The weeks delay will allow Vodafone to ensure that they are delivering the best customer experience possible at the highest quality.

Blackberry Storm: The Ultimate Handset?

Wednesday, 5 November 2008

Blackberry's First Touch Screen Mobile
The Blackberry Storm handset is RIM's first touch-screen handset boasting 3G connectivity, a high-resolution screen, GPS and push corporate email. The Storm's 3.25-inch touch-screen sports a 360 x 480 resolution and supports multi-touch interface with incredible capabilities for cut and paste. The keyboard presents RIM's SureType model in portrait mode, and has a QWERTY layout in landscape mode.

Push Email - Great For Business Users
The handset makes provision for multiple email accounts for total convenience and usability, including major accounts such as Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise, Lotus Domino and a variety of POP 3 service providers. Over and above these versatile functions, the Blackberry Storm handset offers security beyond those expected, making it the perfect handset for secure business use.

Play & Work With The Blackberry Storm

With the Storm handset, you can surf the web with a proper HTML web browser, check email, and enjoy streaming video and audio with superb quality. The Blackberry Storm handset also enables you to work on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel files on the handset itself and send picture messages. The Storm comes preloaded with Blackberry applications, Facebook, inbuilt instant messenger programmes, and can sync songs without digital rights management from iTunes.

Blackberry Storm V iPhone
If this isn't enough to convince you that this is a truly supreme handset, then consider the 3.2-megapixel built-in camera with video-recording capabilities and a lens that's said to exceed the quality of iPhone lenses. The Blackberry Storm handset proffers many features that Apple's handsets offer, outshining Apple in some areas, and is suitable for use with Vodafone Exclusively in the UK.

Blackberry Storm Coming soon to Vodafone

Thursday, 9 October 2008

The Blackberry Storm has been getting a lot of press recently, mainly due to it's impressive iphone-esque touchscreen interface. I read that the screen is not hard like an iphone's though, so it would be cool to try out to see what the difference is. This handset was purpose built for Vodafone, so it looks like it will not appear on any other networks.

BlackBerry® Storm? Smartphone

* Purpose built for Vodafone
* Large HD touch-screen
* Superfast 3G connection
* Incredible sound quality
* Built-in GPS

With the BlackBerry Storm smartphone, select and type using touch technology?the screen is the keyboard. Typing is easy?highlight the letter on the touch screen and press the screen to make it appear in your message or document. And navigation is a breeze. Like a mouse, your fingertip moves the cursor across the screen.

You can register your interest on the Vodafone Official Website, and you will be entered into a prize-draw for your trouble.
